We are the Charter Vanguard, a fun-loving guild formed for the purpose of playing Guild Wars, long before the game was ever available. This is a testament not only to our love of and dedication to this game, but also that we just enjoy spending time with each other. Our members hail from many different regions, including Asia, Europe, and America, to name a few. We maintain a fun and exciting atmosphere, and one of our founding principles is being available for the support and enjoyment of each other both in-game and out. We welcome any level of experience, and even have a member for which Guild Wars is his very first MMO / guild experience. We also have several members who achieved Legendary Guardian together, and we schedule weekly outings to various elite areas. Our membership includes many talented people, ranging from the graphically artistic to those of us who are bards, painters of words, and those who are natural leaders and motivators. Other talents have yet to rise to the surface, but they are definitely there. We have a long and storied history, having survived many organizational crises but emerging the better for each experience. Many decisions at the moment are still being achieved by general consensus, but we work well together and welcome different opinions and opposing arguments.

We have fought the fight. We have weathered the storm. We have not been swayed from our course. We have stood tall in the face of all opposition. We have held true to the Standard. We are the Charter Vanguard!

Structure:
CV currently consists of three guilds, run as one extended guild. They are Charter Vanguard [CV], Fire of the Covenant [CV] and Chartered Vacation [CV], for members who wish to load up on Kurzick points, and for members away on extended leave. We are part of the Legion of Phoenix alliance.
