I used to use commas a lot till my english teacher suggested using fullstops at certain 'longer pauses'. Makes the sentences a lot more readable that way.

i blame the teachers!!!!! I always have trouble with putting too many comma's because they taught me to put one wherever you would pause (or take a breath) while reading. I suppose i take too many breaths lol

And putting incorrect apostrophes, sorry, couldn't resist pointing that out. :jocolor:

P.S I have revised my current three chapters, mostly on things like commas and periods, replaced a few words here and there but nothing changed about the plot.

i knew i didn't need it, it just looked so wrong putting commas! lol

Well you'll be glad to hear that a couple of nights ago, Brendan (Ivan Firestar for those that would remember him) took a look at the story and walked me through the grammar very thoroughly.
He used examples and such from the story, within a couple of hours I felt I had learned a couple of years worth of Highschool English and I had completely edited the three chapters I had written.
You should find the standard of writing to be much better now.

I've also completed Chapter 4 and posted it.
I'm starting to feel pretentious about bumping this thread every time I post. Shall I just let you find out yourself, by checking the site every so often?

I've been really busy thus far and unable to get much time to write, but now that I have Easter break off I'm going to use the opportunity to get some of this done. as well as a new GW project that's distracting me, though is far smaller and you'll see it soon.

Anyway I got chapter 5 done, enjoy.

Not sure what I've wanted to do with this story as of late, mostly because I realize this will most likely turn out to be a pretty long term project, nothing im going to finish in a few weeks most likely and the arise of GW2 could involve some pretty big lore changes, (which i know i could ignore totally and just have it set in GW1 time, but there are problems with that) in many respects I could involve some of the key changes into the story, from my own character's perspectives and own sub-stories, but still the uncertainty has made me not want to write any more, considering just putting this on hold till GW2... well after GW2 when I'm not wanting to play it EVERY waking hour.

After GW2 I may choose to scrap the story entirely, where it will either remain unfinished or I can hand it over to any other keen writers of CV, as we have many, just depends if anyone wants to take over this project.
