Bioware recently released a 1.04 patch for Dragon Age. It supposedly fixes some crashes, especially ones related to sound effects. The only crash I've experienced was very likely sound-related, so I suspect this will fix that. The time between scene shifts seems a bit faster too.

Some people have reported trouble logging in the first time after applying this patch. After applying the patch, it took me a few attempts before it connected to their servers and started up. Before this patch using 1.03, I would sometimes have trouble on the first connection try, but this took a few more tries than that. However, since the first successful login, it is now working fine and hasn't had any issues starting up at all. Might have been due to heavily volume at their servers as people were downloading the patch.
